Dolls Toy Dolls, Dollhouses, Dolls Prams & Doll ...

Little bit of back story for understanding.
My husband (Ryan, 30) was adopted by two white people(Henry and Lucile) but he has a black, Ugandan biological mother (Kesi) and white biological father, who we have never met, he takes after his father however and is white passing. His adoptive parents never told him that his biological mother was black, or that he was mixed, he found out when he met her for the first time at 18. Kesi has been heavily involved in Ryan's life ever since.
I am white and we have a son (Jake) together and he is also white passing. Jake is 2.5 and attended daycare one day a week before we pulled him out because ot Covid. The daycare told us he loves playing with a baby doll, so Ryan and I decided to get him a doll. I took him to Kmart and I let him pick out which one he would like, he picked a black one and excitedly held it up, said "Graddy" which is what he calls Kesi. I didnt think twice about it and bought him the doll.
In February Lucile visited me and Jake while my husband was at work. She is extremely old fashioned and extremely religious. When she noticed Jake playing with the doll she just lost it. "How could I get Jake a black baby, He is white he should have a white baby and a toy baby isn't an acceptable toy for a boy anyway". I tried to say Jake picked it because it looked like Kesi, but as soon as I said her name Lucile got even angrier and starts yelling at me that I'm undermining her position in Jake and Ryan's life by allowing us to acknowledge Kesi and that Ryan looks white so he shouldn't bother with that part of his life and being black is a curse hes lucky he doesnt have.
Now that last comment is what tipped me over the edge and I said "Ryan and Jake are mixed and If you want to continue to have a relationship with Jake you will never speak racist crap like that in my home or in front of him ever again, consider this your only warning".
She was furious, called me disrespectful and left. Henry rang my husband that night and laid into him for what I said and that I needed to apologise. Ryan asked his father if his mother was going to apologise for being racist. This turned into fight, Henry said some horribly racist things and now Ryan isn't speaking to his adoptive parents and hasn't since February.
Ryan is incredibly hurt by his adoptive parents actions and is currently in therapy working through his feelings. I feel terrible for starting all this by buying Jake a black doll. My own mother said to me today when we got talking about this situation, that I should have got Jake a white doll because he looks white and it looks bad/racist a white looking child playing with a black doll. So now I'm asking, AITA for buying my white passing son a black doll?

Backstory: My sister, F, is 33 and I am 20. I am the youngest of 7, and didn't really grow up with her but did grow up with her kids (two of them around my age---one is 15 and the other 18). So, I saw her growing up, but she was more like a second mom rather than a sister. We don't have the same dad as I am the only child between my mom and dad. However, I know for a fact that my dad is a narcissist and I suspect (though my mom disagrees---or rather, goes back and forth) that my grandmother was also one (my sister was mainly raised by my grandma and my aunt K). My brother, Z and I were raised mostly together and all my happiest memories are with him. This is pretty long, so please bear with me.
Okay. At first, I didn't think my sister was a narcissist because I had never known her well enough to think that. However, now, I cannot tell if she is just toxic, has narc qualities, is a narc, or if I'm just reading way too much into this because I was raised by a narc and I don't know how to stand up for myself to certain people. Obviously, I'm not asking for a diagnosis, but more so a confirmation or at least advice on this subject so I can tell if I'm crazy or not.
So, the reason why I think she is a narcissist is because the other day I was sitting there, and we were talking about my mom and how she's doing. I said that I always take care of my family and that I don't let the people I care about go under water because I watch them vigilantly. And her response was that I don't do that with her and I don't catch when she's going under water. And my immediate thought as soon as she said that was: Yeah, but I don't care about you. The reason why this bothered me was because there was only one other person in my entire life that I had this immediate judgement with. I typically have a very good judge of character with everyone, and I'm rarely wrong. But the first time I had this specific moment was when I was younger---about seven or eight years old---and my father called me a daddy's girl. I immediately got angry (but didn't say this aloud) because I did not want to be associated with him or thought of as a daddy's girl. I always knew who I loved more and it was always my mom because my dad wasn't a good person. But this was the first time I ever truly came to terms with it. And this was the first time I did the same thing with my sister.
My sister is very insulting and hurtful toward me. But she's also very charismatic and charming. She's a good mom to my nieces and nephews: Always encouraging them, very sweet to them, stuff like that. But at the same time, she's weird. For example, she'll say she loves me and accepts me for being gay (which I don't expect everyone to be okay with me bi. I just want to know they still love me. They don't have to agree with it. I know some people just aren't okay with that.) But in the same breath, she'll tell me she will do anything to make sure her kids never choose that path. Which is one thing, but she's absolutely serious. One year, my six year old nephew asked my sister and her husband if he could have an American girl doll for Christmas. Her husband snatched the doll he was holding away from him and said you ain't getting a doll. Then, my sister proceeded to yell at him and tell him that he is a boy and boys don't like dolls because those are girls toys. A month later, he tells me he's scared of dolls, hits them, and tells me that they're creepy. Now, at first, I chalked this up to homophobia. I wasn't okay with it, but I knew what that was.
But then there were other things. I started taking ballet classes and having an interest in competitive cheer. She would drive me to class, and while some conversations were nice, others were peppered with these little insults. I'd wear a cropped shirt, and suddenly, she's making jokes about another girl who is chubby wearing a cropped shirt and say girls like that shouldn't wear things like that. She'd tell me that I was overthinking my dad's abuse, or she'd get offended if I was late to hanging out with her when she is late for things with me all the time. She'd let her kids make fun of my clothes and not tell them that's not nice. She pointed out that my little niece (9 years old) is the same size I was at her age and that she might look like me when she gets older. Her husband said "Oh, lets not get too crazy! I'm sure it won't be like that." And says nothing.
When I was 15, her ex husband asked me if I really thought I was bi and if I'd go down on a girl. I told him that was a really inappropriate question to ask me and he forced me to answer. She did nothing. But she stood up for me one time when I said a joke and my dad got mad at me for saying it and suddenly she never has to do it again. She always reminds me of that when she thinks I don't stand up for her. It was YEARS ago and not that big a deal. She doesn't ever take my depression or anxiety seriously, or even our mother's for that matter, but gets VERY upset when she feels like people don't take her pain seriously or when everyone doesn't relish in her successes. One time, I told my niece (15 year old) that I wasn't sure I wanted to hang out with my sister on a trip to Atlanta because the whole family had been bullying me (which she and my mom both fully agreed with---my family takes all their anger out on me because my mom is depressed and they can't say it to her and I don't talk back) and since my sister is says mean things to me (which my niece also felt was true), I felt like I wouldn't be very fun on the trip bc I was so overly sensitive. I even pointed out that while I knew my sister was just joking, the jokes really hurt my feelings and I just needed to be alone for now.
Well, since I told this to my niece (bad idea), she asked her mom to be nicer to me and my sister went OFF. And when I say she went off, I don't use that term lightly. She called my mom YELLING so loud that I could hear her loud and clear from the other side of the room and she wasn't even on speaker and told her that she wouldn't be taking me ANYWHERE if she's really so bad for my mental health and that I can't have her drive me to ballet class and all this other stuff only to (and I quote) "talk shit about her behind her back." Keep in mind that I literally said that I was too sensitive and I was probably just taking her jokes the wrong way. I didn't say anything mean about her. (Although I do complain about her a lot to my mom lol)
I've talked to my therapist a lot about my sister, and she has always recommended that I just talk to her. But being the child of a narc, I feel like I always have to test the waters because I typically know how people are going to react before I tell them things, and I want to make sure that I'm not surprised or at least that they won't hit me or something. So, I've told her that sometimes she hurts my feelings when she says certain things. And she tells me that I'm just being way too sensitive and that it's not that big a deal. She insists that she doesn't need therapy or anything for her anger issues, and that she's even checked herself into therapy and has been told by her therapist that she doesn't need therapy because the real problem is that she's surrounded by assholes.
She also insists that she raised me. She tells me that while my mom was off doing her thing, she was the one who hung out with me and changed my diapers. My mom told me that when my sister found out I was a girl, she was pissed because she wasn't going to be the only girl anymore. However, she also said that F did love me when she met me and took good care of me but argued with my mom and claimed that she was basically my mom because she was always the one taking care of me while my mom worked multiple jobs. My sister still says this, however, I don't really even remember her because I was just a baby. I actually asked my brother a long time ago if my sister hated me or something for being born and just pretends to love me and he said that it wasn't like that. However, by multiple accounts, my sister was really mean growing up. She was a huge bully to my older brother to a point where when my mom got pregnant with me, he swore up and down that he was going to be a better older brother to me and that he would never treat me the way my sister treated him. My aunt also said that my sister used to do really cruel things to my cousin and that she didn't like my sister when she was a little girl and would tell her that the things she did weren't nice. One of my friends who knew her for a while when she lived in our state said that she never really liked my sister and always felt that she lacked empathy.
She was raised by my grandma, who was by all accounts a very traditional, catholic, German woman. My mom said that when she was little, she used to hate when her mom came home from work and would feel sick to her stomach because she was so mean. One of my aunts told me that she kept her son away from my grandma because one time when my cousin was sitting right there, my grandma openly insulted him basically said the equivalent of "he aint shit." When I was about six, I picked some of my grandma's prized flowers and she almost hit me for it. She told my mom that she needed to learn to control me better. However, she also took me to Kmart and bought me a computer game and knitted me a blanket. But I always felt like she hated me for the rest of my life after that one incident when I was six. She made me cry and I tried to tape the flowers back on thinking that she wouldn't be upset anymore if I did.
My grandma doted on my sister and while she had about seven grandchildren, she only truly loved my older sister. It was to a point where my sister's pictures were EVERYWHERE. All over my grandma's bedroom, the living room, the dining room, the fridge, the kitchen, etc. My sister got to go to private catholic school, got to have karate lessons, dance lessons, etc. My grandma said she would basically be leaving everything to my sister (which wasn't totally true as my sister really isn't getting anything). My grandma also told my sister lies. While I cannot attest to things that happened before I was born and able to witness them, this is what I was told by multiple relatives. She told my sister that my mom partied rather than be with her, and my other aunt corroborated this. However, my mom actually had three jobs in order to take care of my sister and my brother. I guess my sister was too young to understand this so my grandma and aunt told her that my mom partied rather than tell her the truth. My sister still believes this.
Despite being my grandma's favorite, my sister really never took care of my grandma prior to her death. Because I didn't know her, I didn't have any reason not to take care of her so I left school (for other reasons, but also my grandma) to care for her while she had dementia. Now, my sister feels entitled to everything and has tried to get money out of my mom from money that was left to my mom (she and my other aunt (not the one who raised her) tried to make her split it with them). She's even said she doesn't really need it. Now, I get feeling like you deserve it because you were told you did when you were a child, but my mom is manically depressed, living in a house that belonged to my grandma that may or may not be given to her (We don't know), and making very little money a year to be able to even fix the $45,000 worth of repairs on the house. My dad left her and I three years ago, kicked us out, and then my mom's best friend was stealing from her like a month ago. So, like, is it really that necessary knowing that if she needs it?
Lastly, my sister got offended that we wouldn't let her and my little nephew in the house after she has been exposed to my older nephew that is said by the CDC to probably have the corona virus. :| Do with that information what you will. I'm so unsure because at the heart of it, I know my sister has some empathy, but at the same time I'm not sure that she does because I don't know her and I never feel like she understand my and my mom's pain at all. She just tells us to tighten up and basically get over it. She even says therapy is stupid and that all people who go to college are dumb and not as smart as they think they are. Most of my friends say that it just sounds like she's jealous of me and that's why she puts me down. Even my mom says that. But I don't know. Something feels wrong because just jealous is one thing, but I feel like I have to walk on eggshells just to be around her. Every time she comes over, I make sure to dress down and hide in my room until she leaves or to just be very agreeable with her so I don't start an argument. I quit ballet because I couldn't take riding in the car with her. And every week, she's getting mad at me for something that I did to offend her when I never ever go off on her for the things she says and does to me. She gets mad and she says the meanest things and so I just apologize, only for her to tell me that I just need to learn to have empathy and think of other people besides myself. Which is crazy because if you were to ask everyone I know, I genuinely only ever think about other people. I never call her out on things because I know she's super sensitive, and I never tell her that she's wrong because I don't want to hurt her feelings or anything. This quarantine has even provided me with some relief from having to see her all the time because she can't come over right now.
I will admit that I have trouble standing up to people whose voices are louder than mine or people that I have to keep around. My grandma's caregiver was super mean to me and constantly insulted me. But my aunt said I had to be respectful to her or she'd kick me out. Even though I knew my mom would never let that happen, I was petrified of standing up to her. But I typically don't let people pick on me. It's just my family that I let do this. Outside of them, I will immediate shut someone down for being mean to me and I will stand up for myself. That's why I'm just not sure if I'm overthinking this or not. I really can't go anywhere with her without absolutely dreading it because I know she's going to be insult me or get mad at me for not doing something or say something about our mom and it drives me crazy. She can be really nice sometimes and certain times when we hang out, everything will be perfectly fine and even super fun! But idk.

So, what's the verdict? Am I just crazy or what?
